Presented by: Sandy McKinlay with Bruce Brandhorst and Arnold Arce A large contingent of Osprey Members and Guests made biennial trek. A review of the fishout, nearby attractions and future fish outs on the Island.
Presented by: Sandy McKinlay & Bruce Brandhorst. The Skagit has finally re-opened after the devastating floods in 2022. Tying Demonstration of flies have proven to be successful in past years. One or two dry flies, czech nymphs, nymph patterns and perhaps a soft hackle.
Breakfast: Ricky’s All Day Grill - 8:30 am (Hope—Silver Creek Exit, Hwy #1) Meet at Ricky's for breakfast, discussion and disperse from there. Bruce fished the Skagit last week and will provide guidance at breakfast meeting.
Pay fishery. Reservations will be required. www.corbettlake.ca Large Rainbow Trout - Stocked with fish weighing 2 lbs or more every spring. Ospreys have rented half of the big duplex. Contact Bruce to check availability.
Presenter:Bruce Brandhorst Bruce and Doug James did a multi day trip to Powell River in September. One day of fishing by Helicoper. A couple days of beach and river fishing and a day on Lois Lake.
Members will bring their vice, tools and thread. No materials. Chris will bring a bag of "junk" from which members select materials to tie. Prizes - Mystery Bags from Peter - will be awarded to the top three patterns.
Breakfast: Rocko's Diner @ 7:30 am. (32786 Lougheed Hwy., Mission) Break into groups and head off to various locations after breakfast.

Presenter: Ed Stefanison T-Lines, types of loops, recommended lengths and weights Ed will discuss his “Sink Tip” system and how he uses it on a river to find the zone
