FISH OUT – Cutthroat on the Harrison / Nicomen Slough / Stave River
Breakfast: Rocko's Diner (Mission) @ at 7:30 am. Cutthroat move around a lot in search of food, if you find them, you’ll catch them. If you’re not seeing them, move to another location.
METHOD SESSION – Tying Dry Fly Wings
Presenter: John Hay John will demonstrate how to tie a variety of dry fly wings including parachutes, upright feather, upright hair, hair wings, etc.

METHOD SESSION – Early Season Patterns for Interior Stillwaters Presenter: Stanton Jack
Presenter: Stanton Jack Originally from Kamloops, Stanton has been tying flies since his mid teens. He began competitive fly fishing in 2017. Named "most improved" in 2018 & 2019. He represented Canada at the Commonwealth Fly Fishing Championships in 2023.
FISH OUT – Rainbow Trout at Corbett Lake
Pay fishery. Reservations will be required. www.corbettlake.ca Large Rainbow Trout - Stocked with fish weighing 2 lbs or more every spring. BCFFF AGM also happening that weekend at Corbett.
REGULAR MEETING – Restoration of North Shore Fishery Habitats
Presenter: Glen Parker For many years, Glen has been a very active conservationist with various groups. Glen will tell us what's going happening on the North Shore to restore fishery habitat that has been lost due to development.
FISH OUT – Rainbow Trout at Tunkwa Lake
Reservations will be required. www.tunkwalakeresort.com One of BC’s premier fishing destinations, with trophy fish up to 10 pounds. Offers a wide range of accommodations (cabins, RV sites and tent sites). Potluck dinner will be arranged for one evening.
Casting Session – “Fly Casting Confessional”
Where: Como Lake Middle School Oval (2 blocks behind the Legion) Demonstration and Instruction: Peter Caverhill, Certified Casting Instructor. Where: Como Lake Middle School Oval (Porter St & King Albert) Food & Libations to follow: John B Pub Note: If inclement weather, will be held in Legion with Yarn Practice Rods.
