Cutthroat
The coastal cutthroat populates nearly all of the streams and lakes within the Pacific Coast rainforest belt. This plucky little trout is migratory and has the ability to thrive in diverse environmental conditions. Anadromous cutthroat, the true sea-run cutthroat, is the headliner of the species. The ability of this strain to spend part of each year in parent rivers and then move into protected estuaries, salt water bays or the Pacific Ocean has placed them in high regard among fly fishermen.
